Ron has consulted for distilleries with long-established reputations. What makes Three Ridings different is not a single technique. It is the alignment of three independent specialists - each one serious about their craft.

At Fawcett & Sons maltings, he sees "a family business with more than 200 years of expertise" crafting malt that already carries the character of place.

Theakston Brewery brings nearly as much history - and water quality Ron calls "as soft and pure as the very best distilleries in Scotland." Their beer is brewed to the same standards as their ales, minus the hops. A foundation that "you simply cannot fake."
